Frequently Asked Questions

Will this throwline damage my hardwood floors?

The self-adhesive backing is designed for a strong, flat hold on all hard surfaces. While it bonds securely to prevent slipping, it can be carefully removed when needed. We recommend applying it to a clean, dust-free floor for the best results.

How do I know exactly where to place the line?

For standard steel-tip darts, the front of the throwline (the oche) should be exactly 7 feet, 9 and 1/4 inches (2.37 meters) from the face of the dartboard, measured horizontally.

Does the printed design wear off quickly?

No. The Shot Darts Throwline is specifically manufactured using durable, hard-wearing material. The graphics and precise toe line-up points are designed to resist fading and scratching from shoes.
