1. "Do I need special shafts for these?"
Yes. This is the most common question we get. Fit Flights only fit on Cosmo Fit Shafts. They will not fit on standard nylon or aluminum shafts. You can choose between "Gear" (standard), "Carbon" (super strong), or "Titanium" shafts in either Spinning or Locked styles.
2. "What is the difference between Spinning and Locked?"
Since the flight pushes onto the shaft, the shaft determines the action.
Locked Shafts: The flight stays fixed tight.
Spinning Shafts: The flight rotates freely if hit by another dart, reducing deflection and bounce-outs. The flight itself is identical for both.
3. "Is 'Standard' the shape or the model?"
In this context, it is the model/thickness. These are the Standard edition (rigid, durable). If you are looking for the ultra-lightweight, flexible version, search our store for Fit Flight AIR.
